RETURNS POLICY

We offer a voluntary 30-day returns policy. This means you have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

For returns made under our voluntary 30-day returns policy outside your statutory cancellation period, items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, unused, and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging. You will also need to provide your receipt or proof of purchase.

Items returned without contacting us beforehand may not be accepted.

Return shipping costs

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise not as described, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning your order.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery.

If your item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain items may not be eligible for return due to a change of mind, including goods made to your specifications or products that have been clearly personalised for you.

Please contact us if you are unsure whether your item is eligible for return.

Gift cards are non-returnable.

Sale items remain fully covered by your applicable statutory consumer rights.

Exchanges

If you would like a different product, colour, size, or variant, the easiest option is to return your existing item in accordance with this policy and place a new order separately.

UK 14-day right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom purchasing goods online, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order by contacting contact@mycosylight.com.

Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days.

During the cancellation period, you may inspect and handle the goods only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, in the same way that you would reasonably inspect them in a physical shop.

We may make a reasonable deduction from your refund if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of handling beyond what is reasonably necessary.

Unless otherwise stated, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising your statutory right to cancel.

If you cancel your order under your statutory 14-day cancellation right, we will refund the amount paid for the returned goods together with the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.

If you selected a more expensive delivery method, any additional delivery costs above the price of our standard delivery option will not be refunded.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

We will process your refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the date on which we receive the returned goods or receive evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first.

Your statutory 14-day cancellation right applies independently of and in addition to our voluntary 30-day returns policy.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this Returns Policy limits, excludes, or affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable UK consumer protection legislation, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
